I am a professional volleyball player and journalist. I played for Viteos NUC out of Neuchatel, Switzerland from 2017-2018, worked with the PAC12 Network, P1440 and KEYT over the summer, and am now playing volleyball again in Legionowo, Poland. Thank you for visiting my portfolio!

Cassidy currently plays professional volleyball for her team DPD Legionovia in Legionowo, Poland. The team plays in the top division and competes one to two times a week.

Cassidy worked on multiple projects for all three networks. She shot, edited, and voiced multiple stories for the PAC12 Network, shot and edited post-game sound for KEYT, and shot and edited social media videos for P1440. She also was an extra camera at multiple P1440 shoots.

Cassidy played professional volleyball in the top division in Switzerland where she garnered 7 match MVPs and a second place medal for the Swiss Cup Championship.

Pickrell transferred to ASU to pursue a degree in Sports Journalism at the prestigious Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. While there, she interned for the Final Four in 2017 (Phoenix), worked as a reporter at Cronkite Sports LA in 2018, and played volleyball and beach volleyball for the NCAA teams. She graduated magna cum laude.

Pickrell started her collegiate career at UCI where she was a Film & Media Studies major candidate. She also played volleyball for the NCAA team. At the end of her sophomore year, she transferred out of UC Irvine with a 3.8 GPA.

Pickrell was a three-sport athlete playing volleyball and soccer, and running track. She was picked as a school ambassador her senior year, and was on the school board's advisory committee. Pickrell was the director of the sports program in the student-run television production called KCBY. She graduated in 2013 with a 4.9 GPA.
